The subwoofer/control unit has a remote receiver which plugs into the back of the subwoofer. The unit no longer responds to remote commands. I have tested the remote itself and it is emitting a signal. The receiver is receiving power and there is a voltage variance in the receiver when the remote is used. You can also plug a 2nd remote blaster into the unit, I have done this with an official Sony blaster and it still does not accept commands. I suspect therefore that the problem lies in the subwoofer/control unit somewhere.
