The headphone jack (input) on my headohones is broken. All 1/8" (3.5mm) cables do not properly seat and cause the audio signal to cut in and out and only outputs distorted partial stereo sound and alternates that audio between the left and rigjt channels upon manipulating the cable. As you've probably already concluded, I would like an estimate on a replacement of the female 3.5mm audio jack with a suitably high quality jack that is caoable if stereo hi-fi audio. As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
