My Walkman has suddenly started getting stuck during the boot up – it just shows the Sony welcome screen, the wavy line boot up screen and then after 45 seconds it just shuts down and then restarts – it does this cycle until the battery runs out. I've tried it with and without the SD card with the same result. Although it's about 5 years old, it has been used very little (about 30 times max) as I only use it when on longhaul flights. Was greeted by a very pleasant and extremely helpful member of staff. He explained what they would do, what I would need to do and if I wanted to go ahead with the repair I could pay in person as he was aware of my computer situation.
On collection I was greeted by Norbert the very pleasant staff member again who handed me the headphones in a protective case. I was absolutely overjoyed. I thought they were beyond being fixed. How wrong could I be. They're definitely as good as new. -

They fixed the damage and also fitted the ear cushions for me, then returned the headphones in perfect working order. They even offered me a one year warranty for their work which I took out for £10.
All in all a very professional and helpful service and gave me my much loved headphones back with new ear cushions and working perfectly. So much cheaper than buying a new pair. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
