HI, unit is in good condition externally. However it will not connect via Bluetooth or NFC, no sound comes out at all, even via 3.5mm audio input. No other sounds either, e.g. on 'beep', 'pairing'. 'battery level x%'. Otherwise everything appears to work. Unit switches on and off, lights come on, it appears to charge, and will still charge my mobile via USB. The buttons appear to work. i.e. power light flashes when pressing vol + / – buttons. I've tried both a 'reset' by pressing the reset button, and re- initialising the device by pressing '-' and power for 10 seconds. Bit flumoxed tbh.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
