    Hi I have a Sony amplifier TA-FB 940 which is intermittently clicking when on,connected to speakers and a source playing

    It doesn`t click when only switched on

    The clicking seems to be coming from the speaker relays at the back of the amp

    The clicking can be heard also when using the speaker select knob and sometimes when the binding posts at the back of the amplifier are touched

    The clicks can be single clicks or rapid ones

    At no time do the speakers go off while this is happening

    The amplifier can also go for a few hours without any clicking so it`s not constant
