haven't been run for years – almost new condition. But now when I try to run it, tape seemed to feed about 2 inches, then nothing happens – and the tape is not taken up. Something is wrong with the drive. Don't know what else might be wrong. Tape exists for about 2 inches, then stops, but does not take it up. So no record, no playback. Unit has been used little since new, many years ago. Overall condition is like new, just doesn't transport tape.

EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
