    Hi, I'm looking for a quote to get my Walkman repaired.

    Cosmetically it's in very good condition and barely used, as you can imagine I was gutted when I came to use it the other day and found the heads do not fully engage when play is pressed. I disassembled it but couldn't see anything obviously wrong. I did find that when a tape is in it and the door is off, if I gently push the heads down when it trys to engage itself after pushing play, it does sometimes work.

    Playback doesn't normally work when it is all back together, neither does rev/fwd playback or rew/ffwd. It seems to try and then gives up, some times with a screeching sound.
