Thank you for quick reply. I decided to visit local HIFI repair shop and I was told that power supply is working and it looks like the amplifier which is attached to the motherboard is down. Could you tell me what cost of repair (approx.) could I expect if it was an amp or complete motherboard? I just don`t want to waste your time and my money if this would be not much less then price of new sub. Kind regards Mac

The damage to be repaired ie a crazed screen was correctly described so the cost of the part and time element would have been available before quoting. Was greeted by a very pleasant and extremely helpful member of staff. He explained what they would do, what I would need to do and if I wanted to go ahead with the repair I could pay in person as he was aware of my computer situation.
On collection I was greeted by Norbert the very pleasant staff member again who handed me the headphones in a protective case. I was absolutely overjoyed. I thought they were beyond being fixed. How wrong could I be. They're definitely as good as new. -

I broke my Bose headphones trying to fit new ear cushions which proved impossible for me to fit. I found Electronic Partners … read more details online and contacted them. They paid for the postage of my headphones to them, assessed the damage and gave me a very reasonable quote to repair them. They fixed the damage and also fitted the ear cushions for me, then returned the headphones in perfect working order. They even offered me a one year warranty for their work which I took out for £10.
All in all a very professional and helpful service and gave me my much loved headphones back with new ear cushions and working perfectly. So much cheaper than buying a new pair. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
