Sometimes, half the screen is "white noise", whilst other half is perfectly fine. Touch works (when you guess the location of buttons), and rotation works to see hidden part of screen.
Other times, the same half screen jumps up and down a few pixels constantly, and there is background artefacts (like badly tuned analogue TV). I don't remember dropping or knocking, and there are no other defects or marks.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
