Screen intact.
Flashes and cuts out, goes blank, bits of screen appear and jitters, and sometimes what looks like a hi-def version of analogue TV no channel noise. Sometime fine. The touch function still works and hi-def HDMI output perfect so can use with external screen and use the touch function of the blank (I turn it off ) screen.
When screen comes on and stabilises the picture is perfect as new. But unreliable. If screen left on for a long time it seems to settle.
The flashing jitters happens even during boot "Lenovo" and with Ubuntu so not a driver issue, and never looked like that either.
I really like this machine, upgraded with 500gb HD not long after I got it.

Instructions on how to proceed were clear & easy to follow, and upon deciding to go ahead I was provided with a shipping label etc. Upon receipt of my headphones a final quote for work required was provided and an estimate of date of return. My headphones were shipped back to me fully repaired and 2 days ahead of original schedule.
