I am looking to buy this computer for my son (CAD user). I want the computer to last him several years. I have been advised the battery is not replaceable by the user and must be replaced at a service ccentre if required. My experience of laptops is that the battery tends to degrade over time. Please can you advise 1) How long the battery in this model is realistically likely to last given average use? and 2) the cost of the a new battery + fitting at a service centre such as yourselves?
