I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 2 laptop that is not longer working at all. Last week it said "no battery detected" and then kept turning off constantly. The Microsoft forums vaguely suggest this could be a software or a hardware problem. We changed the device settings so it wouldn't turn off at all unless I turned it off, which seemed to work for a day or two. But then it tried to do a Windows update and turned off during the install. Now it won't turn on at all.
