      • Laptop fails to charge despite me trying to do everything. I first tested the power adaptor and this outputs correct voltage. I then used the 2nd power port (it can be charged by primary or the usb3 port) and both yield same result. I opened up to clean it and no effect..I thought it was the battery so ordered a new battery and replaced it. Whilst the battery does work, it does not charge. I have Looked at the power going into the port and this at point of entry gives correct voltage. So this not charging is not to do with the port or battery. The laptop has been kept in brand new condition and still has screen protector on it. I have tried reset and all other options.

        It seems that when I press and hold the power button and then insert the power supply the power light flick on for half a second and turns off.
