    It boots perfectly from a cold start after being unplugged for 10–15 minutes, but if it’s powered off briefly and then turned back on, it often fails to boot — the LCD is white and all LEDs stay on.
    This strongly points to an internal power-rail reset issue, most likely ageing electrolytic capacitors in the low-voltage rails or the reset supervisor circuit not discharging properly.
    I’ve ruled out external power supplies; I bought a new adapter from myvolts specifically for the VoiceLive Rack. — the unit behaves correctly after a full discharge, which confirms it’s an internal issue.
    I am assuming I’m looking for a PSU / reset-circuit inspection and recap where needed, not a firmware issue, although I may be wrong, hence my email. I assume this through some remnants of my Electronics Engineering degree knowledge from back in the day.
    The behaviour suggests high ESR electrolytics on the 5V or 3.3V rails, or a reset line that isn’t dropping fully on short power cycles.
    First cold boot is stable; warm restarts fail.
    LCD controller powers but isn’t initialised.
