I have a PS4 CUH-1216B.
So I can power on the console however it will only boot into safe mode, picture displays on tv.
I’ve tried all of the 7 settings, installed update via usb and swapped hdd with a definite working hdd.
The console refuses to boot normally as when it does it flashes blue for about 10 seconds then boots off, upon reboot it will enter safe mode.
As a test I left the console running for an hour on safe mode and it did not power off. I’m very confused by this as by being able to enter safe mode and for over an hour it can’t be a fault with the apu right?
