I am asking about the cost of repairing my tablet (SPG511) which I bought 3 years ago.
It is out of warranty and I have voided the warranty anyway as I'll explain.
I have been trying to flash a custom ROM on my tablet. The tablet is unlocked and 'rooted'
The flashing process has 'bricked' the tablet.
When connected with a USB cable to my laptop I can boot into 'fastboot mode' – the indicator light turns blue. When I flash the image the light briefly turns red and the goes out. 'Fastboot reboot' does not reboot the tablet.
When I disconnect and press the on/off button I feel a vibration but nothing happens.
If I try to charge the tablet nothing happens and it does not get warm.
So I have bricked it but it is not completely dead as lights would not go on and off.
I would be grateful if you could you give me an estimate of the cost of restoring the tablet to its original state?
