The right headphone is losing sound, which is affected by moving the cable. I suspect that the cable has frayed somewhere, or that it has lost connection to the driver, and that the headphones need to be re-cabled.
If they do need this, is it possible to replace the default cable (which is quite flimsy) with a stronger one that would not break? The headphones were re-cabled only 18 months ago, and they are not used especially heavily.
