      A capacitor on the 12v power supply input stage had blown for some reason and so i have replaced this but the unit still doesn’t switch – I suspect another component on the supply stage is faulty but don’t have the knowledge on how to diagnose this myself.

      The designer of this SWP switcher unit unfortunately died a couple of years ago and I cannot get support on it from SWP therefore (I tried). It has worked fine for the past four years as I have been renovating an antique dolls house for my daughter and typically it failed at the very last test prior to final assembly.
