      • The in ear element somehow came opened at the seam and the cable connector piece came out. As it was then unprotected one of the wires became detached and am now only getting sound in one ear.

        The fix would be to re-solder the wire (or wires as appropriate) – re insert the connector and and re close the ear piece.
