    The amplifier won't start up. Keeps going into what I think they call protection mode i.e. after pressing the power on button the light changes orange to blue then after a couple of seconds there's a sort of bumping noise from the speakers, the power button light turns red and nothing else happens.
    I have installed the 10μF C528 as suggested by the service manual which has made no difference at all. I've put a multimeter across R379 thermistor which appears to have a sensibly low cold resistance, pulled and reseated J506B and J507B which has also made no difference.
    Any ideas?
