    When I turn the amp on using the main switch (bottom of the machine, left) it plays for a second then switches itself to standby and the red light comes on. It has been serviced once previously and has worked fine until this. I have owned it since new and it may be 15 years old, it's hard to say. My stereo system is much loved. Many thanks, Donald
