Laptop is 2 years old.
Number of faults that my external IT company have diagnosed as hardware problem.
– Screen flickers every 5-10 seconds (but when on docking station rarely flickers). NB: When off docking station it doesn't matter if mains power is connected or not – same fault.
– Pen intermittently works (only 5-15 seconds at a time). Replaced pen and batteries previously. This problem started 6 months before fault 1 above.
– Laptop freezes regularly. Sometimes can take 3-4 reboots to get working. Again on docking station the laptop is less likely to do this.
My external IT company has dialled into the laptop, looked at possible causes and believe these are being caused by hardware issues.
We have not done anything else at this stage.
The laptop has not been damaged or had any kind of impact.
Laptop has been used 8hrs per day on average 5 days per week since new.
Battery charge still holds laptop up for 4-5hrs.

Instructions on how to proceed were clear & easy to follow, and upon deciding to go ahead I was provided with a shipping label etc. Upon receipt of my headphones a final quote for work required was provided and an estimate of date of return. My headphones were shipped back to me fully repaired and 2 days ahead of original schedule.
