The triggers on my elite controller signal at random, usually in bursts of 4 or 5 seconds, but sometimes longer. Completely random, no pressing of the trigger. I've opened up the controller and all is as it should be on the inside, nothing shorting or making a connection on the triggers. The triggers do not stick at all – in fact, the controller hasn't had a huge amount of use. It happens with the hair-trigger lock on or off, regardless of game, and happens on the dashboard menu too. It effects both triggers.
