        I’m having an issue with my Series X and energy-saver mode. On waking the machine the settings (network and even the clock) are lost. In order to connect to Live (via ethernet) I have to reboot several times. If I try to use wifi, the settings have to be re-entered on boot.

        What I’ve done to try and address issue:

        * Reboot after leaving machine disconnected from mains for several minutes.
        * Reset to default settings (leaving games) and then reinstate my settings.
        * Complete reset (including games) and then reinstate my settings.

        The machine works okay in standby mode, but this is not a great idea with high electricity prices here in the UK. My impression is that whatever the Xbox equivalent of non-volatile RAM is, has probably never worked on this machine; it’s only in recent months that I’ve started using energy-saver mode.
