When I switch it on everything lights up and it all seems to work but the amp turns it's self off but the top part of the unit stays on, on the amp the standby light flashes on and off,I haven't used it in a while but the last time I did it was fine so I dont understand what the problem is.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
