      • Won’t get past the splash screen. Have tried holding power button down for a minute, totally draining the battery then recharging it, still won’t get past the Kindle Fire splash screen. When you put the charger lead in, the splash screen comes on for about 30 seconds but then goes out again and nothing else happens. Tried the un-soft-brick program but my PC won’t recognise it, I plug it in the USB and it’s not finding the Kindle Fire. I don’t think it’s a problem with the PC because I tried plugging other things into the same USB first and they were all found.
