The Service Charge covers the engineer’s assessment or repair attempt in the circumstances set out in the terms. It is separate from the price of a successful repair.
- Headphones, DVR/camera and GPS navigation: £8.10.
- Smartphones, smartwatches, tablets and MP3/iPod: £15.
- Gaming consoles, PCB boards and TV/monitor: £20.
- Laptops, desktops and Audio HiFi equipment: £30.
- Drones/UAVs: £60.
It becomes due for beyond-economical-repair devices; counterfeit devices where parts are unavailable; cancellation after diagnosis before repair starts; rejection of a new quotation, partial repair or diagnostics; and no fault found. Applicable shipping charges are additional.
Separately quoted diagnostics or partial repairs involve additional authorised work, must be paid in full before starting and are non-refundable. A partial repair does not guarantee full restoration.
