The flip-out screen on my Canon PowerShot G7 X Mark II has become completely detached from the camera body. This started when a couple of the hinge screws went missing over time, causing the screen to loosen. Eventually, the screen came off entirely, and in the process, the flex ribbon cable (the thin tape-like connector) also became disconnected or damaged.The display no longer powers on, and it appears that the internal cable or connector has either torn or pulled out of place. I believe this may require a replacement ribbon cable and reconnection, along with replacement screws or hinge realignment to securely reattach the screen.
