Hello thereI have a failed ps3 slim, I believe it's a PSU issue. Comes on but not for long and turns itself off, power light then also goes off. I've found out these models can have a thermal issue so I'd like the following done if possible please if you can help?
1) PSU fault which is likely the PSU itself or could be a faulty resistor?
2) renew thermal past all round, cpu / gpu etc…
3) enhance consoles cooling further with either upgraded fan mod and if appropriate changes to case (cutting new ventilation holes in addition to fan changes etc…).
This ps3 is already modded in terms of software and has an upgraded 1tb hdd full of games so I'd really like to rescue it and make any alterations that'll prevent this issue recurring.
