console has no picture. Took it to be repaired at steel city it Sheffield. He told me it was the hdd & fitted a new one. Took it home & still no picture. Returned it & he tells me it is something to do with the retimer chip? part of the motherboard & he doesn't have the expertise or equipment to repair it??? Do you? He refitted the supposedly broken hdd & I picked it up. so after 3 trips to his place. I am no better off.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
