      • Bought a Glimpse XL camera drone (made by Horizon Hobby) from Maplin. Crashed it but the long part (like an arm) that leads to the bit that holds the propeller motor snapped on both front sides. I’ve managed to glue one side, but the other side no such luck. Would you be able to glue and test this for me? I’m fairly sure it still works when I glued it back on I powered up and the propellers rotated fine. But of course, as one of the “arms” is not level, it’s dangerous and not likely to fly straight. Can you give me a quote for looking at this and glueing/testing? Thanks

The damage to be repaired ie a crazed screen was correctly described so the cost of the part and time element would have been available before quoting. To have a 60% mark up on that initial quote when they had the tablet was a bit much, but I suppose not entirely unexpected with such a business model.

Was greeted by a very pleasant and extremely helpful member of staff. He explained what they would do, what I would need to do and if I wanted to go ahead with the repair I could pay in person as he was aware of my computer situation.
      On collection I was greeted by Norbert the very pleasant staff member again who handed me the headphones in a protective case. I was absolutely overjoyed. I thought they were beyond being fixed. How wrong could I be. They're definitely as good as new.

      I broke my Bose headphones trying to fit new ear cushions which proved impossible for me to fit. I found Electronic Partners … read more details online and contacted them. They paid for the postage of my headphones to them, assessed the damage and gave me a very reasonable quote to repair them. They fixed the damage and also fitted the ear cushions for me, then returned the headphones in perfect working order. They even offered me a one year warranty for their work which I took out for £10.
      All in all a very professional and helpful service and gave me my much loved headphones back with new ear cushions and working perfectly. So much cheaper than buying a new pair. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
