One side of the headphones work (jack side). There is no sound from the other side. The original problem was caused by the aux lead being suddenly pulled out when it got caught on something.
I've had this problem repaired before by another company, but I don't think they did it correctly. I got the jack fixed before, then sent it back after 1 week because it stopped working again in one headphone. This has recently occurred again… so this would be the third time they have been repaired…

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
