Although I use bluetooth when listening to music on my phone (and this works perfectly), I use the detachable cable to connect them to my PC. When using this cable (which connects via a 3 pole jack at each end), any movement of the jack plug at the ear-piece end causes the sound to distort badly. I have to turn the jack plug on the headphone ear-piece to get it back, but the slightest movement of the plug (e.g. when my arm moves the cable) causes it to distort again.
The problem appears to be with the jack socket on the headphones (possibly a loose or damaged connection).
