The amplifier has been working fine for the last 5 years. Over the last few weeks I have started to hear noises through the left channel. This happens with no inputs connected and I've swapped the speakers to confirm it is the amp. Here is a link to a recording I made of the sound. Also I have noticed that if I change the volume, as it gets higher I hear a sound through the left speaker only. The volume control dial is electronic, not a potentiometer.
