Could you confirm your estimate for the repair to my Arcam CD73. Your quote QQ five two zero seven five eight has now expired.The unit powers up, the display is good and complete. The remote mains switching from the amplifier works correctly ie. when you turn off the amplifier it remotely turns the power off in the CD73. The draw opens when pressing the "load" button.
The fault appears to be that on loading a disc, the draw closes and then the display says "loading". This continues for about 10 seconds or so and then the display says "no disc"
Normally after a few seconds the dispaly changes to show the track details. The unit has not been moved or damaged, it has just stopped working. The original display packaging clear film is still on the unit so please do not remove. Also please return the unit in all the packing supplied, I am shipping it in the original packing box inside another box for extra protection.
