I bought my Bose Acoustimass 10 IV system when living/working in the USA in 2010. I returned to the UK and installed in my flat which was subsequently let out. I used a transformer for the voltage difference. However my tenant has (I believe) plugged it straight into the mains in the flat without using the transformer and I believe that it wasn't too keen on having 240v pushed through it and isn't now working.
Is it possible to repair the unit? Is it possible to replace the 'power unit' with a UK power unit ?
The external speakers are still working, but not through the subwoofer unit.
Your help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
