      • Purchased replacement capstan (tape motor) belt from Fostex distributors SVC . Removed units top & found I had to undo the tape motor /heads etc cage unit in order to replace belt…my thinking! After several attempts could not get anywhere near replacing the belt & am at a loss how to do it.
        With the exception of belt slippage, the machine was working fine . Now it is in pieces!
