      • The left channel of my trusty Ravensbrook amplifier has stopped working. I bought the amplifier new in 1973 and it has been in daily use almost ever since. A few days ago the left channel stopped working, but it was OK when I switched it on the next day. However after some time it stopped again, and now the left channel does not work at all. I have checked for loose connections, and have also tried with headphones and have concluded that the problem is definitely in the amplifier. The right channel is working perfectly.

        I have the original Installation and Operation Instructions, which includes a component list and circuit diagram.

        Please advise if you think that you will be able to effect a repair, and advise some idea of the cost.
