Hi. I've just removed corrosion from my SONY WM-D6C walkman which has probably laid untouched for 15 years. After removing the corrosion in the battery bay the walkman worked and still works now but after playing about 5 songs on cassette tape though it I heard a slight 'pop' and now can only hear music through one earphone. The unit is in good condition and the headphone socket is nice and tight. When I gradually pull the headphone jack out of the socket I can get sound in both ears but I'm not sure if this is just hearing one signal (left or right channel) replicated in both ears as opposed to true stereo. And in any case I need the unit to work properly by putting the jack fully into the socket. I also wondered if you offer a clean, refurbishment, drive belt, calibration service too?
