I have an issue with the circuit board for an ADAS Camera for an Audi A7.
The issue is not rare and the problem is generally accepted as the soldered joints to the main processor come loose over time, especially due it's exposure of being behind the rear view mirror facing forward on the windscreen.
One fix has been tried by heating the chip at 100 degrees for seven minutes, which worked but only for three days, but at least makes a convincing arguement that the electronics are functioning.
I do not want to risk heating the processor again in case of damage and the repair only being temporary.
What is required (as far as the evidence points to) is the processor be removed and re-soldered for a permanent fix and then check for any signs of deterioration of the rest of the joints.
