We have 2 of these phones in our house. One has stopped charging, and the cable does not seem to go into the slot fully.
When I look into the charger port of the non working one, the metal bit inside that makes the connection with the charging cable appears to be missing the corner, when I compare it to the one which still works.
I am not clear how this damage has occurred.

As the DVD player sound surround system was around 20yrs old I was surprised that Electronic Partners were able to undertake a repair and give us many more years service of our system meaning no wastage of all the other perfectly good parts such as the speakers. EP also met my need in delaying the return postage until a time that I was able to be at home to receive the DVD player.
