Hi there, I have a set of FXT Viper 2 FPV Goggles which I purchased brand new last year and used them until November when I packed them away for the winter, This week I have come to use them and nothing at all, not even powering on. I have conducted a basic triage and can see that power (8.4v) is reaching the 5 way tactile switch (all but one of the contacts appears to be reading voltage – whether this is correct or not I do not know), I am unsure of the 470uh inductor but the capacitor appears OK, I have not attempted any repair. The unit is a removable receiver monitor with two 5.8Ghz aerials used for drone flying and cost me approx £100.00, I am able to send pictures in order for you to assess better.
