Black Friday has begun over at Amazon, with its big sale kicking off a day earlier than originally anticipated. So what does that mean for you? Echo deals galore!
If you are looking to buy a cheap Alexa speaker, now is the time. Don’t expect these prices to get any lower in 2021. We wouldn’t be surprised if they continue beyond Black Friday, some of them right up to January, but with threats of stock shortages and delivery problems we advise you to buy as early as you can.
With so many deals live on Amazon over the Black Friday period, finding what you need can get a bit confusing. Below we’ve listed all the best Echo deals at Amazon (in the UK and the US – weirdly, these deals are different!), both on single Echo speakers and on bundle deals that include Echo.

If you’ve been following the tech news of late, you’ll know Amazon has recently announced a wall-mountable Echo Show 15. It is now on sale at £239.99/US$249.99, but is not currently discounted in the Black Friday sale.
Best Echo Dot (4th-gen) deals
Released in October 2020, the fourth-generation Echo Dot comes with an updated design (shown below alongside the Echo 4 so you can see the size comparison) and a faster processor. Alexa is more responsive than in the third-gen model, and the spherical design makes for better bass, despite the new model featuring the same speaker hardware. The Echo Dot with Clock has been updated in line with the non-clock version of the Echo Dot (4th-gen). In line with Echo Dot, the standard Echo speaker has also been updated in late-2020. The fourth-gen model is a winner. Thanks to the inclusion of the smart hub – and temperature sensor – you get more for your money as well as slightly better sound quality. Best Echo Studio Deals
The Echo Studio is the top-of-the-line Echo without a display. If you want the ultimate in sound quality, this is the Echo for you, with support for hi-res audio and 3D sound making this a significantly cheaper rival to Apple’s HomePod and the Google Home Max. A large slot on the front allows bass from the 5.25in woofer to pour out, and the Studio also has two 2in speakers and a 1in tweeter inside, each positioned to deliver truly room-filling audio.
