Evernote is a place for storing notes, and not just the ones you’ve typed up. You’re welcome to scan documents and upload them to the service. Alternatively, you can whip out your phone, open the app, and take a picture.
With the latest update, Evernote has enhanced the photo-capturing experience. Now there are two modes: automatic and manual. Automatic detects a document’s size and turns the image into something usable. Evernote will then add each scan to a gallery.
If you’re scanning a business card, the pro version will realize this and load the information into a business card note.
After you’ve loaded up images, you’re now empowered to mark them up. Add arrows, shapes, or stamps. If you’re editing a note, you can now strikethrough text. The note editor has also gained support for subscripts and superscripts.
Those are the changes. Now off you go to scannotate until your heart’s content.
