Nexus Protect Is Now Available To 5X And 6P Buyers In Canada

With this year’s batch of Nexus devices, Google has upped its warranty game. In addition to the manufacturer’s twelve months of coverage, Google offers an additional year for folks who pay for Nexus Protect.

If you want in and you happen to live in Canada, you’re in luck. The option to buy Nexus Protect will now appear even if you live north of that great, wide border.

Nexus Protect covers accidental damage and device malfunctions. It costs $69 for the Nexus 5X and $89 for the Nexus 6P. Each replacement also comes with a $79 deductible.

Prior to today, Nexus Protect was only offered to buyers in the US, which means it is now available in twice as many countries. That’s quite the rate of expansion.
